It is the mission of MENTARA BEHAVIORAL AND RECOVERY SERVICES to provide a safe, therapeutic environment offering the latest in evidence-based care for clients and their families. MENTARA BEHAVIORAL AND RECOVERY SERVICES believes that mental health and addiction are chronic diseases and that in order to support best recovery outcomes, must be treated in a long-term continuum of care that addresses not just the symptoms but the underlying causes, conditions, behaviors, attitudes, values, family dynamics and purpose and direction of each individual. MENTARA BEHAVIORAL AND RECOVERYSERVICES believes that it is our mission to aid those suffering from addiction and dual diagnosis issues by providing clinically appropriate resources and referrals, community support, educational and preventative platforms to further the understanding that addiction is a public health issue and the stigma of addiction and mental health must be broken. MENTARA BEHAVIORAL AND RECOVERY SERVICES purpose is to directly and indirectly help individuals, families and communities suffering from addiction and to support sustainable, long-term recovery that allows clients the opportunity to achieve a purpose-driven, high quality of life.
Patricia Bailey, PhD PMHNP-BC
I am a doctoral prepared, dual board certified specializing in Addiction/Recovery Medicine and Mental Health. With the current opioid crisis and epidemic, my role helps to eliminate and/or reduce personal and public health consequences as well as the stigma associated with addiction by reinforcing that addiction is a chronic, but treatable disease, and by providing these same individuals with access to holistic care. It is amazing to be apart of my clients' recovery and support as they regain losses such as family relationships, stable housing, jobs, etc... just to name a few.
